My Wii has arrived!!
Oh yes, it's here. My Amazon.co.uk order paid off, I was one of the lucky ones to get an order within the 7 minute window before it sold out!
It's just arrived, so no playing yet. In fact, it's technically a Christmas present, so I'm going to have to convince my other half to let me open it!!
Here it is folks, my very own Wii.
As soon as I get it open (depending on when that is ;-), I'll post my thoughts up.

Well as you sit there and wonder what it's like, I'll tell you my first hand experience…
First off the shear beauty of the machine hit you. Set-up my Mii account and we were off. Tennis is rather good, although sometimes close to the net you cannot play the shot you want, as in, you aim left and it goes right, still lots of fun. The accessibility of the Wii is already apparent.
Bowling is as close to the real thing as you can get, if you don’t bend down you chuck the ball down the lane! Simply Great!
I found Golf frustrating, possibly because I found holding the remote awkward as you can’t hold it like a golfer – I can see why they have release those plastic clip on sports pack for the Wii remote.
Conclusion, great idea, work better than expected, although it’s a bit sensitive at times (maybe you can change this) and certainly tests your hand eye coordination when you use the nunchucker. Overall it’s very funky, although not quite able to mimic the real thing (as yet) but certainly the next stage of gaming has arrived!
